Choose Auto, Day or Night, and keep scene motion as gentle or still as you like. Automatic lighting follows your device’s local clock: day at 7 am, night at 6 pm. For seasonal sunrise and sunset, optionally choose a city or allow one approximate location reading. Solar lighting is calculated on your device; Quiet Paws does not receive the location or put it in backups.
Lighting updates while visible or when reopened. Travel may need a new city or location reading. Reduced-motion preferences are respected. Night lighting does not change your dogs’ energy or force them to sleep.

Planned My Companion ($9.99 once) and complete Quiet Collections ($2.99 each) are independent of Quiet Plus. Canceling Plus does not remove purchased local content. They do not include all future content, unlimited cloud services or photo commissions.
New accounts can explicitly start a 30-day manual cloud-backup trial, with no card or automatic charge. Uploads then stop, followed by a 30-day download window before trial copies are deleted. Existing manual-backup access is preserved. Local export and restore remain free.
Cloud transfer is limited to 50 MB per account per UTC month, snapshots to 2 MB each, retaining the latest and one previous copy. Daily limits are 12 saves and 48 downloads. Service-wide capacity limits also apply. Automatic synchronization is not enabled; the planned Plus service targets two synchronization devices after delivery testing. Paid checkout remains closed. Previously published founder terms remain $19.99 for the first annual year, renewing at $29.99/year, separate from the new standard annual price.
Your quiet corner, wherever you settle
The native iPhone app is planned as a free download. It is not available on the App Store yet.
We are building account-based ownership so a future move from the PWA to the native app keeps verified purchases without a second subscription. Switching installations should not restart an introductory year or change who bills you. Apple purchases will need Apple verification; web purchases will use the same Quiet Paws account. Paid checkout stays closed while that work is completed.
Progress is separate from sign-in. Today, explicitly save a cloud backup on the old device, then sign in to the same account on the new device and choose Restore. Installing or signing in does not overwrite progress or start a timer. Export a local copy first if you want to keep both devices’ current records.
One-time companion and Collection purchases do not include perpetual cloud storage or synchronization. Cloud services have separate access, transfer and storage limits. The PWA cannot provide native Live Activities or locally scheduled iPhone completion notifications. Its optional online alerts depend on permission, connectivity and system settings. Native countdowns and local reminders are planned in the free core, subject to device testing and settings; they are not a reason to buy Plus.

Sleepy “Zzzzz” marks stay while they rest and disappear when you wake them. Gentle motion can be switched off, and system reduced-motion preferences are respected. Their familiar faces stay the same.
All everyday care is included in the free app. Optional low-needs reminders are off by default, without repeated nudges or penalties. Enable them in Settings; internet, notification permission and iPhone Home Screen installation are needed for background PWA alerts. System settings may delay or silence delivery.

Yes. Open the free browser app on your phone or computer. On iPhone, open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. This is a web app; an App Store download isn’t available yet. Screens on this page show the working app’s mobile layout.
Yes. Optional Gentle care reminders are included in the free app and off by default in Settings → Your everyday rhythm. One grouped reminder covers food, water, energy or cleanliness below 35%. It avoids repeated nudges until all needs recover to 45%. Forecasts cover the next eight hours; reopen to refresh. On iPhone, use the Home Screen app, allow notifications and stay connected. Focus modes and system settings can delay or silence alerts. Care stays free, with no penalties.
Pause or finish early whenever you need to. Early finishes keep your partial time in the journal; completed focus sessions earn treats. Enable gentle distraction support in Settings to save thoughts for later and add an optional reflection after completion. Return messages offer encouragement without penalties. Needs and moods change gently, but your dogs don’t age, get sick or die. Basic care is free, with no feeding schedules.
The current app is free, with no payment card required. Focus, pet care, earned treats, earned themes and local backups work without an account. Email sign-in is optional. Existing manual cloud-backup access is preserved; new accounts can opt into a 30-day cloud trial with a 30-day recovery window. Local backups stay free. The new worlds are free focus-minute rewards. Quiet Plus routines, sound mixes and longer-term insights remain free previews, along with the interactive Rainy Reading Retreat collection and three existing free collection rooms. The companion creator saves only a visual draft. No checkout or subscription is available.
By default, progress stays on this device. Export backups regularly: clearing site data can erase local progress. If you explicitly save a cloud backup, your labels, history (including saved thoughts and reflections), saved routines and pet progress are stored in your Supabase account. Cloud backups aren’t end-to-end encrypted or automatically synchronized. You can delete your cloud copy or account in Settings. See our privacy notice.
After the first successful online load and caching, the core app works offline. The timer recovers from its saved deadline when reopened. Optional completion and low-needs care alerts need internet access, notification permission and, on iPhone, a Home Screen installation. Focus modes and system settings can delay or silence them. The experimental media-card timer depends on iOS; the PWA cannot provide native Live Activities or locally scheduled completion notifications. The native iPhone app is still in development and is not available to download.
Quiet Paws helps you choose a focus window, put your phone aside and return to something welcoming. It doesn’t block other apps or monitor what you do in them. Optional gentle support notices returns after at least 15 seconds with the page hidden during running focus. Screen locks can count too; we cannot tell what caused the time away. It does not send distraction alerts while you’re away.
Mochi and Harley are the playable companions today. You can explore the My Companion creator as a free preview and save a visual draft; it does not yet add another playable dog. A photo-based personalized pet remains a future possibility, with no checkout or promised release date.
